Get creative and join the community for the Louisville Scarecrow Contest! Businesses, organizations, and families are invited to build and display a scarecrow for a chance to win prizes.

About the Event
Bring some fall fun to Louisville by participating in the community Scarecrow Contest! Scarecrows will be displayed at the city lot across from Carter Lumber on N. Chapel, just north of the railroad tracks on the west side.
Supply Pickup
Saturday, September 26 from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM
Supplies can be picked up at the Recycle Center, across from Carter Lumber.

Scarecrow Placement
Scarecrows may be placed anytime during the week of September 28.
Judging
Saturday, October 3
Choose from three categories:
Company/Business
Organization
Family
First place in each category will receive a $25 prize, and one Grand Prize winner will also receive $25.
Scarecrow Removal
All scarecrows must be removed between November 1–7. Scarecrows left after this period may be disposed of.

Louisville Chamber of Commerce membership is not required
