I moved to Louisville in 1991 following 9 years in the Navy as a Nurse Corps Officer. I graduated from LHS (Lakewood High School), Fairview Hospital School of Nursing, and the University of the State of New York with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I love teaching women about their skin and how to be their best as I am also a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant.

I married into the Louisville family when I married Frank Clapper in 1992.  We raised our only daughter, Sarah, in Louisville and she went on to graduate from The Ohio State University with her BS in Architecture. She was Miss Ohio 2017 and works full time as the Marketing and Business Development Coordinator for Berardi Partners in Columbus and the VP of Marketing and Business Development for the Eastern Headquarters of Calichi Engineering. Frank and I own and publish the Louisville Herald, a weekly, community newspaper, which has been owned by his family since 1927 and has been published weekly since March 4, 1887. I love the Louisville community that I now call home and I bleed blue and white.
